Who We Are

Borëa & Co. was born from a professional spark.

Not in an office.
Not from a business plan.
But right in the middle of a farmers’ market, in 2025.

Between conversations with customers, products selling quickly, and the energy of the market, something became clear: there was something to build here. Something real, alive, and deeply rooted in the local community.

Mushrooms quickly became the starting point — their richness, their versatility, and their still largely untapped potential. From there, everything began to take shape.

Today, through Champignons Outaouais, we grow gourmet mushrooms with care and precision. And with Borëa & Co., we transform them, work with them, and give them a new dimension — always with the goal of staying accessible, but never ordinary.

Steve

Producer

Steve is the calm at the heart of the action.

Present at farmers' markets, he embodies a steady, straightforward, no-nonsense approach. He takes his time — with both the products and the people.

On the farm, he consistently ensures the quality of the crops. He adjusts, observes, and refines.

He's a steady, essential presence — the one who keeps things on course.

Mathieu

Producer & Administration

Mathieu is the driving energy behind it all.

A natural talker, he's just as comfortable explaining a product to a customer as he is structuring the business behind the scenes. He connects ideas, develops concepts, and opens doors.

Between production and administration, he always keeps one foot in the field and the other in the bigger picture.

Annabelle

Processing & Management

Annabelle brings together creativity and structure.

She takes the mushrooms and brings them further — developing gourmet products, refining flavours, and building a cohesive offering. Every recipe passes through her hands.

She also plays a key role in management, making sure everything aligns: products, brand, and operations.
